My 2 Cents Worth...

Good morning all I hope this finds you & yours all doing well.
I was told by a friend not to even address this situation, but I want to get this off my chest.
I haven't been around as most of you know, but a dear friend called me & informed me of people claiming things about myself & others, so after giving myself some time to cool down after reading all the garbage that was stated I decided to put my 2 cents worth into it.
It seems people have nothing better to do than try to cause problems for others.
Never once have I claimed my work to be the best!! I am still learning so I am aware that my stuff is not half as good as most of the designers out there, but then again I am not trying to be better than anybody else, unlike some people out there. Nor have I ever denied using some CU products in my designs... well known designers do the same thing does that make them less of a designer? I don't think so!!
I design for pure enjoyment, not to make a profit {& neither do most of those mentioned at this blog} & for these people to attack me & people I have the pleasure of knowing is really twisted & childish!
Nobody is perfect & the sooner these ladies &/or men realize that the better off they will be. Then to post my link to myspace LoL what a joke, everybody knows where they can find me it's no big secret so keep on trying my dears. Oh & did you know I am a 'Goth'? Are you really serious?? LoL that is hilarious. Yes I like some goth things but that doesn't make me a goth, nor does it make me a bad person if I were. We are free to choose our likes & dislikes so for you to sit there & say anything pertaining to it is really ignorant on your part. Things are not all peaches & creme or do you not watch TV. Seems like grasping for straws is all these little girls/boys can do to make themselves feel better. All these tactics are lame ways of trying to discredit a group of people & that is extremely & utterly disgusting.
So what you don't like something, nobody says you have to, just move on & find something you do enjoy. Instead of ripping apart somebody's dreams/work just to find any little thing that 'YOU FEEL' is not acceptable, why not try to focus your efforts on your own life.
Artist create from within not from what people expect of them. If an artist wants to create Gothic things that is their prerogative, let them be & again worry about what happens in your own life!
As for taggers not belonging in the scrapping world, are you kidding me? Who are you to say who can or cannot be a scrapper? That is the most ridiculous comment I have heard in a very long time. Are you really that threatened by taggers?
I'm sure your time will be better spent in your designs or off-line life instead of being placed into other peoples business.

I must say I am proud of the other ladies who defended themselves to these people. Ladies you have nothing but my utmost respect & support. Yes, we haven't spoken in months but that doesn't mean I don't back you up on things. I just wish people would take the time to get to know people & the facts before they start throwing accusations around trying to bring people down.
Lately nothing online seems to amaze me & people that continue with the drama really need to get a life & stop trying to destroy a persons dreams.

Just a heads up

Good evening/morning all!! I haven't been around since my last post. I've had a friend of mine posting comments & checking on other things so it was all taken care of for me. Thanks girlie girl! :)

These next few months will be very busy for me so my online time will be minimum, that also includes my creative time. I'm sure I will pop on in the morning & maybe after everybody is in bed, but I doubt I will be on here long enough to really chat or anything else.
With my daughter graduating to middle school, my son graduating from Pre-School, us moving, & my schooling {4 course = 23 test & that doesn't include the electives}. Needless to say I need to keep my focus on all that instead of my online stuffies. I'm sure you all understand. ;)

Hubby, the kids, & I went by my mom's yesterday & after us walking around there for a little bit we decided that we were indeed going to try to find an apartment over there. Hubby loves the fact that it is easier for him to get to work & the fact that he doesn't have to leave 2 hrs early to make it to work on time is a plus. (I love it too} Thanks to my family & a few friends I know the schools there are good & they have a lot of extra activities for the kids. Now we are just crossing our fingers to find something there.

As you all now I am going to my grandmother's 75th B-day party tomorrow & not only am I, but the kids are really excited. Hubby will be taken off of work so he can go with us! YAY!!!!
I just hope the weather stays as beautiful as it has been.

I know there was something else I wanted to say but, I can't think of it now. I hate when that happens, don't you?
I am off to spend more time with hubby. I hope you all have a great night/day!
